Coach Snevely is a former Attackman from Virginia Wesleyan University by way of the DC/Metro area.  After completing his college career, he continued to play at a high level in the post-collegiate club scene, winning numerous championships with Alexandria Lacrosse Club, Legion of Doom Indoor Team, Jack Lingo Lacrosse, Wimmer Lacrosse, and now the Augusta Beavers & Blue-Footed Boobies.

Currently the Offensive Coordinator at Evans HS, he began his coaching career at Georgetown Prep, then moved on to run the Cavalier Lacrosse 2025s.  John was also the Offensive Coordinator of Briar Woods High School in Ashburn, VA from 2017-2019.  While winning back-to-back 5A Virginia State Championships in ’18 and ’19, those teams finished with an overall record of 60-4; averaged almost 15 points per game and finished with a top-50 ranking in 2019 by Inside Lacrosse at #45 in the nation.
